Republicans Want To 'Do Away' With The Middle-Class?

I'm hoping that many of my fellow American democrats and those who are undecided will read this.

I am a republican. I do not want to see the middle class done away with. We who claim to be conservative/republicans choose men to represent our belief system. The 'pool' of men we had to choose from, though all somewhat different in personality, style, etc. could not believe as the present leadership is accusing, or we would not have considered them, nor would we support them. We are your fellow Americans. We all want jobs, for us, for you, and our families. For all you democrats out in the trenches, (as opposed to those who are leading you,) to actually believe that the Republican party wants to 'do away' with the middle class is ludicrous! You are simply believing the narrative (divisive lies and attacks) of the Liberals/Socialists who have hijacked your democratic party. The Obama regime said they wanted to: 'FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGE' America. What do you think that meant? They are attempting to do it 'incrementally' while mixing socialist and conservative verbage in their speeches. Their truly socialist followers hear what they want, (you know, the ones who voted to keep God and support for Israel out of your party platform,) and others of you choose to hear the more democratic sounding lines. This keeps them undetected by many of you! They've begun by 'dividing' the country with lies, and taking over the health care of the country. Books that teach socialist minded people how to change a free country into a socialist one, (like 'Rules For Radicals,' for instance) - insist that these two very important things be done! Even Jesus Christ said, "A house divided, cannot stand!" - and - "...while men slept, the devil sowed his tares..."

ImJusSayin' NO red blooded American wants to see the middle class go away. NONE. Not republicans, and not TRUE democrats. The only type of political party that would benefits when there is no middle class are Socialists. They actually want everyone to be more 'the same' but it takes steps to get it there. Little by little, they suck all the funds that they can out of our 'pocket-books' and then 'dole' it out, as they see fit. Meanwhile, the people become more and more powerless over their own lives and futures, and dependent on them, for even their BASIC NEEDS. WHO can't see that this is NOT the direction that we want to take? Obama can't be specific about 'changes' that he will make this time around, because their 'plan' (from when he first got into office,) is happening just the way that they want it to. It's not surprising that this has been the slowest 'recovery,' in our history! Many people just can't bring themselves to believe that we have people in leadership positions in America today, that want to bring America down and diminish her so that she is no longer the leader in the world. Nevertheless, this is where we are at. His goal: A more 'socialized' WORLD, if you will. We have enemies that are just waiting to 'eat us up' and are depending on his naivete to help them out! Don't expect this administration to come out and say it! Does a thief warn you ahead of time that he is coming to 'rip you off?' Some even have the audacity to pretend to be your friend, gain your trust to get into your house, then rip you off later.

Obama wants us to re-elect him and allow them to keep doing MORE of what they have been doing. "Moving Forward" they call it. They say, "Just give us more time!" I DON'T THINK SO! More of 'the same' will send us right over a financial cliff! Again, a socialist's ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT dream for America! This 'regime' is full of 'wolves in sheep's clothing'...and unfortunately too many in America just don't get it. Free enterprise and capitalism is what has enabled our wonderful country to rise above all others. We need leadership that will not undermine these things. When we help other countries to do this, it is proven, time and time again - they all do MUCH better too! This is the way that all people get and keep good jobs, anywhere it is embraced. I could care less if business owners are wealthy as long as we are working steady and able to reach our own goals and dreams. Reform unions so that they get out of politics altogether, and stop funneling union dues to benefit ONE party. Encourage workers to be the BEST employees they can be, instead of tolerating 'slackers', and conservatives would most likely, get off the union's backs! It's NOT because they don't want a middle class! A little note: The Bible says that 'ENVY DRIES THE BONES!' This 'regime' feeds envy. This is not good food for the soul of our country!

ImJusSayin' Anyone with 1/2 a desire to get ahead in America, can! So many low income families can send their kids to college now, and do. (Unfortunately, in this recession, their not finding jobs!) I am in the middle class. We couldn't afford to send ours! Obama did not bring about our safety nets. We have always had them. Republicans want them too, they just KNOW that when TOO many get dependent on them, for too long, it's not healthy for them, or the country - and they become 'sitting ducks' for Socialists to exploit them and their votes! Republicans, not wanting a middle class? This is not only a misnomer, it is a false accusation, thrown out there by this 'regime' and the liberal media, to scare people and throw them off what should be the clear narrative of all discussion today: Their obviously 'failing policies!'

  1. Candace: I really enjoyed this post. Democrats are so often talking about speaking truth to power. You are speaking truth to power. The sensible majority such as yourself is sick of being ignored and you have become their spokesperson. Continue your persistence.Congrats on this continually fine blog.

  2. I am humbled by your kind words. They are much appreciated, however. It's a crazy world that we're living in, and speaking up can definitely open you up for criticism too...but like they say on Rush - "somebody's gotta say it!"...so 'say it, we do!' I have much enjoyed your work, also.

    Hello, my fellow American voters!
I watched the Oct. 3rd and Oct. 16th presidential and Oct. 11th vice-presidential debates.
1st Romney-Obama debate covered 7 topics: jobs; budget deficit/debt; social security/entitlements; federal regulation of economy; healthcare; federal government role in economy; partisan gridlock.
2nd Romney-Obama debate covered 11 topics: college graduate jobs; gas prices; taxes; equal pay; Bush policies; Obama’s record; illegal immigrants; Libya; assault weapons; jobs; candidate misperceptions.
Ryan-Biden debate covered 10 topics: Libya; Iran; economy; medicare/social security/entitlements; taxes/tax reform/spending/budget cuts; military policy; Afghanistan; Syria; abortion; negative campaign tactics.
As an INDEPENDENT female feminist (egalitarian) voter, I support the Romney/Ryan ticket.
Romney and Ryan won all three debates, although Obama improved some in the 2nd debate.
Ryan won despite Biden’s consistently rude/disrespectful behavior during the debate
(Biden interrupted Ryan often, laughed often while Ryan was talking, pointed his finger often).
Biden’s tactics to evade issues/truth were disrespectful to Americans interested in facts, figures, forecasts, and solutions for real people with real problems.
Romney and Ryan won with substance, directness, integrity, respect, clarity, facts, commitment, inspiration, and leadership.
These debates confirm that Romney and Ryan are the best persons in terms of qualifications and character to lead our country to solve problems and make life better for all Americans.
I am inspired by Romney/Ryan, and I hope that you are too!
    Best regards,
    Cas Lee
